TALO is not a single product, but a unified technology infrastructure that takes the form of vertical solutions designed for specific sectors:
The modules, interface and language change. The foundation stays the same: the same technology, open source, integrated artificial intelligence and blockchain-based digital wallets, making TALO accessible, secure and affordable wherever it is applied.

"Proprietary" software
Most software businesses use today, including management systems, payment systems and CRM, is "proprietary": the code is secret, belongs to a company, and requires a paid licence, often renewed annually on terms set unilaterally by the supplier.

Open source
It means the opposite: the code is public. Anyone, another company, an independent programmer or a regulatory body, can read, verify, modify and use it. Projects such as Linux, WordPress, Firefox and Odoo (the foundation of TALO) are open source and underpin a huge part of the Internet and global IT infrastructure, including that of governments and multinational companies.

No licence costs for the underlying software
There are no mandatory subscriptions to the platform's "engine". You pay for services โ configuration, maintenance, support and tailored development, rather than the right to use the software.

No "lock-in"
Lock-in occurs when, after years of using proprietary software, a business finds itself "trapped": data in a format only that supplier can read, staff trained only on that system, and switching means starting from scratch at very high cost. With TALO, data is in accessible, portable formats, remains the business's property and moves with it.

The operational foundation for everything: customer records, orders, inventory, accounting, communications and reporting. With Odoo, everything is in one system, and information entered once is available wherever needed. It is one of the world's most widely used open source business management projects, used by hundreds of thousands of companies.

TALO AI โ the coordinator. Ollama
The artificial intelligence layer that connects all the other components: it observes data from across the platform, including transactions, behaviour, location and communications, and uses it to take action. This is what makes TALO "AAI: Applied Artificial Intelligence": it serves its users by coordinating tools, rather than replacing people.

Digital wallets โ Hyperledger Fabric
Every payment, cashback point and transaction is recorded in a distributed, immutable digital ledger; nobody can alter it, not even Glifix. It is a "permissioned" blockchain designed for business applications: thousands of transactions per second, costing a few thousandths of a euro per transaction.

The app โ PWA
The TALO app is not downloaded from an app store: it opens from a link directly in your phone's browser and works like an installed app, with a home-screen icon, notifications, QRCode scanning through the camera and partial offline functionality. It works automatically on any smartphone, Android or iPhone.

The tool that lets business managers see what is happening in real time without having to ask anyone: transactions, new customers, campaigns and trends. An open source project used by large companies for data analysis, made available here to an individual network, business or venue with the same quality.

Security and data
The data of each business and its customers stays within the TALO network's infrastructure, rather than on generic third-party servers. The open source management system and immutable blockchain ledger work together to protect data and make transactions verifiable: two needs often in conflict in traditional systems.
